C-PORT, the Conference of Professional Operators for Response Towing, represents marine assistance, towing and salvage professionals throughout the U.S.  Founded in 1986 to meet the needs of the nearly formed industry, C-PORT is committed to representing its members with all federal, state, and local organizations while encouraging the industry's growth and development and is dedicated to promoting professionalism and good business practices throughout its membership.  The support of these Associate and affiliate members and partners help C-PORT meet its mission of representation, promotion, protection, and defense of its members companies through communication, relationship development, and education.
